a: To become a TrustedWebTrader you will need to complete the application form (www.trustedwebtraders.com / become_a_member.html ) and agree to adhere to the TrustedWebTraders.com Code of Practice.
Q: How much does it cost?
a: The current cost to join Trustedwebtraders.com is £75 per annum plus a one off joining fee of £50. Additional URL’s (Web Addresses) can be added for only £25 each per annum.
Q: Do I automatically become a TrustedWebTrader when I pay?
a: No, you have to operate your web site and online trading within and adopt the Code of Practice in order to become an approved TrustedWebTrader.
Q: Once approved am I a member forever?
a: Yes as long as you abide by the TrustedWebTraders.com Code Of Practice and renew your membership each year.
Q: Can I cancel my membership?
a: Yes you can cancel your membership at any time, but please remember you are only allowed to display the TrustedWebTraders.com shield when you are a full paid up approved member.
Q: What if the shield is used by a someone who is not an approved TrustedWebTrader?
a: In the event of TrustedWebTraders.com find anyone displaying the shield without approval, TrustedWebTraders.com will immediately take legal action to stop that person / company and seek substantial damages. TrustedWebTraders.com monitors the internet for use of its logo´s. We employ the services of a specialist company who scans 1000´s of web sites looking for the shields. Using their image recognition software we are able to spot shields that have been rersized, renamed, edited or even had their format altered. TrustedWebTraders believes strongly in maintaining the integrity of the shield and service.
